Hello lovelies, in dedication to this amazing heatwave I thought I'd do a summery post! Sorry for the lack of posts by the way, I would say that I've been sunbathing and soaking up the sun but we both know that's a lie as it's not really that necessary for me - so instead I'll just admit that I've been having a well deserved rest after a tough string of exams at uni ;). Anyway, I bought this dress a few months ago from Oh My Love but haven't really worn it due to the weather so I'm absolutely loving the excuses that the sun brings especially because this month is supposed to be an august washout! Also this dress is absolutely fantastic if you're going for a meal because it's so loose you could literally hide anything under it! I'm not implying stealing food or anything like that (although I don't judge) but it is fantastic if you're planning on going all out, like I do unintentionally, everyday. I also nabbed myself these gorgeous white sandals, I've mentioned many times that I'm a massive fan of chunky shoes so when I saw these shoes I immediately fell in love with them. Oh and on a separate note I'm off to Mexico on sunday, I'm really excited even though I speak maybe 4 words of spanish so I'm hoping that everyday I'll get the opportunity to ask for white wine followed by a goodbye...blanco vino por favor, adios.

My Daily Make Up Look
MAC Studio Fix Fluid NC50
MAC Studio Fix Powder NC50
MAC Pro Longwear Concealer NC35
Mac Mineralise Skinfinish Natural Dark
Mac Matte Lipstick Rubywoo
Sleek Contour Kit Dark
Brushes The Body Shop
Hey guys! Sorry I've been M.I.A I've had two massive assignments due at Uni and so have been working my butt off. Anyway I thought I'd do a post about my daily make up look as I'm a huge make up addict. As you can probably tell I'm a massive lover of MAC because their foundation finishes are amazing and as I'm a big partier I need a foundation base that will still be on at the end of the night. I can't tell you how many times it's gotten to 3am in the club, they've turned the lights on and I've looked in the mirror to find my make up smudged and dripping down my face - so since I've discovered MAC I've been singing its praises. I also can't believe I'm revealing this but I'll let you in to a little secret...I am secretly facially bald...dun dun dun! That's right I've said it. Ok, so maybe not completely, but my eyebrows are incredibly thin (basically non-existent) so I do draw on my eyebrows and occasionally wear false eyelashes (I'm not high maintenance I promise...eek!) I suppose it does have it's pro's as in I don't have to shape my eyebrows or moustache (I don't really grow a moustache) but that's the only positives that I can think of for the time being. My biggest grouch however has definitely got to be looking constantly surprised when they aren't drawn on, it's really not a look I enjoy rocking . Finally another key part of my make up routine is my contour kit, it's fantastic and really brings out your cheekbones and any other features you want to highlight! My lipstick changes daily so I won't go in to detail about that, but to sum everything up; Foundation, Eyebrows and Contour Kit are my 3 definite essentials and if you're lucky enough to grow eyebrows then I am and will continue to be incredibly jealous of you!

Suited and Booted
Okay so this post is dedicated to 'Coordinates', they're all the rage at the moment and I nabbed myself this lovely one from Motel (the love of my life) and teamed it with my favourite chunky boots. The back is backless (oo lala) so it's a great outfit and it's really stretchy meaning that when I wear it out, I can dance like a crazy lady but still feel comfortable which is one of the most important things to me on a night out (apart from where the next drink is coming from). Topshop, Boohoo, Missguided, Oh My Love and of course the wonderful Motel are all doing fantastic coords so definitely check them out. Ella Eyre also wore quite a similar coord to this one - also from Motel (She has brilliant taste) - but with a pair of Nike trainers for all you hipsters out there.
So to cut a long story short, suits are no longer limited to the average businessman, get on board with coords!

The Only Way Apparently Is Essex
Just a short post because I don't want to bore you wonderful people, but yesterday I got back from a lovely town called Witham in Essex! I really did feel like a tourist visiting my friend because shows such as 'The Only Way Is Essex' had convinced me that Essex was this far off mystical place full of overly tanned people all shouting 'Shut upp!!' but it's actually not like that at all. Instead it was beautiful and quaint and as a born and bred London girl I really did appreciate the beauty of nature and felt quite jealous (apart from when I nearly stepped in poo, that I did not appreciate).
Simply stunning
We also took an adventure to the country club (Yes I really do mean country club!). I had a lovely lunch at a place called Benton Hall (definitely check it out if you're ever in the area) and we enjoyed the food so much that we even went there the next day for lunch...I think that now makes me a regular at the country club, that's definitely something to put on my CV. We even had time to bake up a tasty batch of Pain Au Chocolat, so all in all it's been a great last few days; I've been a tourist, an affluent nature appreciator and even a baker! - ok so admittedly the Pain Au Chocolat did come already rolled and I just had to pop it in the oven for 12 minutes and I'm not an 'official' member of the country club but it still counts...right?!

My Favourite Skirt!
This is my absolute favourite skirt in the whole world! I adore the pattern, the style and just basically everything about it, it's from Motel (surprise surprise) and they also have loads of other similar styles that I will be investing in (especially now that my student loan has dropped). My top is from Missguided which is also another one of my favourite shops and my boots are from Topshop. I am a massive fan of chunky shoes and have managed to even convert my mum (an avid stiletto fan). I'm forever trying to make people appreciate the things that I love in life (don't even get me started on my love for curry), it's a really bad habit but I would definitely recommend buying these boots; they're about 4 inches high but super comfy and easy to walk in meaning that I can walk around 'gracefully' whilst pretending that I'm in the Spice Girls (I love platform shoes).
I wore this this outfit to see DJ EZ and I've got to say he was amazingly fantastic, even though my memory is slightly impaired due to alcohol consumption on the night, from what I can remember he was unreal. Go and see him live, you will not be disappointed.

I love Motel
I absolutely adore Motel, it's my biggest crush at the moment (sorry James Franco) and I'm forever stalking the website. I got this beautiful dress in the sale for £19 reduced from £38 and because I'm such a shopaholic I couldn't help myself but also buy it in the black, I'll upload a photo in the future but check it out here! I'm also addicted to trainers at the moment and so picked myself up a pair of these badboys, I feel slightly hipster when I'm wearing them but they are super comfy so that'll be my excuse ;)
I'm now home in London again, it's fantastic being back with my family albeit slightly overwhelming (my mums a headteacher so we'll leave it there) but I love them and it's great having a break from uni and alcohol! Also I have lots of free time, so expect to see a lot of updates :)

I'm 20!
It's been a really crazy month for me, I feel like I'm living in a dream world - definitely the perks of living in university halls I'm not used to having this much freedom! Anyway I have been meaning to post more and definitely will be from now on, on to bigger things I'm now 20! 20 years old, I can't believe it. I've crossed on to the other side and really do feel officially like an adult now, it's quite scary in a way but I am loving it so far.
Also my lovely flatmate made me this beautiful dress for my birthday. It is quite similar to the American Apparel dress but unfortunately as I'm quite tall their clothes never fit me so she kindly made my own bespoke version!

My first ever post!
I've done it, I've finally been brave enough to create a blog! Expect to see on here posts about fashion, beauty, food, music and everything else that interests me and hopefully you too. In September, I moved away from home for the first time to Brighton where I am studying at Sussex University. I absolutely love it here, Brighton is a really vibrant city with a great nightlife, shops, pubs, bars and of course the sea side. It's not all about the gay clubbing scene though, although 'Revenge' is really where it's at (check it out here!) the culture here is laid back, liberal, super relaxed and basically suits me perfectly as a self identified lazy person. So take a gander and hopefully you'll enjoy my posts, when I get a few more up!
